    Haven’t done a kit in a while. But this one came with 2 pkg of yeast, k1-1116 and EC-1118. While i have used both of them , I’ve never used them together Should i pick one or just use both?

    Chambourcin grapes

    Last fall I harvested a ton of grapes, one demijohns went through MLF and it does taste smoother than the other but both are still very light in body. I will be bulk aging for at least 8 more months what can help this 'lite' wine or should I wait till this fall and blend

    Wine cellar

    Here's the start of Petey's cellar. I got the wine rack from a thread posted awhile back. I used lots of stuff I had laying around so the whole bench and racks were less than $100, but the ladder racks are time consuming and you sure make lots of sawdust lol

    I always use my hydrometer ,now I'm reading info to inoculate my wine at approximately 5 brix. My SG is at 1.000, I'm guessing that's about right, is there a formula or is my guess close enough?

    Considering doing an mLF on my chambourcin. When adding the culture, do you increase amount as you do with yeast? I have 3 tubs ready to press: 600 l, 400 l and 250 l They will be pressed, racked. And aged individually. I've got lots of reading to do..help

    Kit is clear and ready to bottle. Can I rack into bottling bucket then bottle? Instructions warn against o2 and suggest going from carboy to bottles. Are these kits that temperamental ?
