    Brown sugar vs white

    has anyone used brown sugar instead of white sugar in wine making. if so what difference did it make?

    cork

    like cpfan said i had some i bottled and when i installed the cork it was below the top of the bottle. i looked @ then 10 minutes later and it had pushed up above the lip. after that i did not fill the bottles as much and has been ok.

    Freezing grapes

    are you able to freeze fresh grapes and make wine with them latter . how do you freeze them,do you wash them first and then freeze.also how many pounds or quarts does it take per gallon.

    when you out there bottle a fruit wine do you use clear bottles or colored [green] bottles. i have about 2 gallons of cherry i need to bottle up. i have used clear in the past.

    Cherry wine needs more flavor

    i am working on a cherry wine, about 2 gallons.the wife tasted it the other day and said it needs more cherry flavor and be sweeter. i was wondering if any one has used cheery flavoring to bring the flavor up. i was thinking about the type you use to make cocktails. and that would sweeten it up...

    it was hard to see,but i found the expiration date.of the 4 packages i had 3 had expired and oone expires in a few months. i will pick up some fresh this weekend. thanks

    re-hydrating the yeast

    how important is it to re-hydrating the yeast as oposed to just sprinkling on the top. i have dove a few kits that say just sprinkle on top and i did 2 strawberrys just sprinkling.i have a blackberry recipe that says to re-hydrating the yeast first .what is the best and what is the best way to...
