I have 6 gal wild plum started November 2011. Montrachet yeast. Starting SG 1.1 In January after the 2nd racking I noticed it was getting yellow line around the top of the carboy (at wine level). Racked into a clean carboy with Potassium metabisulfite (heard that yellow line was because I should be adding campden once primary ferment was done and at every racking? It has been a persistent problem. SG is now .990 Still have heavy yellow line. I would like to bottle but am afraid to because of yellow line - will this happen in my bottles? The wine tastes great. Has anyone had this problem? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. I have only been brewing a couple of years and have much to learn.

Probably natural wax off plumbs. Without seeing I cant be sure. It wont hurt if that is what it is
