When I am looking at wine recipes and it says that it is MEAD, what does that mean? I am looking that sweet honey wine recipe on the FVW recipe page. THANKS!

Mead is a wine of fermented honey instead of grapes. It can be sweet, semi-sweet or dry. It can have fruit or spice flavors to it. It is very delicious. It can be tough or easy to make depending on the recipe. Mastais the Mead Masta here. I am sure he will add some comments as well.

Judge this wine by trying someones. I bought a bottle of "MEADE" at
liquor store and it was nasty. The first time I had a real mead was at a local home brew shop and it was completely and utterly awesome!
