Hey,

I made a red raspberry wine, however I find that it lacks body.
I want to remedy the problem by blending this with a full bodied wine.

I am considering blending with a white wine to produce a rose...I'm not opposed to blending with a red wine, however I want as much raspberry flavor to be retained as possible.

I can use anything from the RjSpagnol En Primeur series, or Kenridge Founder's series. I am torn between gewurztraminer riesling, or using a new zealand sauvignon blanc.

Any suggestion as to what would go well with a raspberry wine?

My first thought is the sauv blanc and then reisling. I believe a better choice would be Niagara, it would give it body and retan the raspberry taste. How much do you have?

I have 7 gallons of red raspberry wine...

Are you referring to Niagara Mist wines...Or is Niagara a white variety? We don't carry Niagara at our store...but we do have Niagara Mist...

Either way I want a high quality wine...which Niagara Mist is not.

7 gallons of red raspberry wine...

2 gallons of black raspberry wine...

I can use Sauvignon Blanc, we sell that at our shop. We don't carry any Niagara, I've never even heard of this wine type...

Anyways, the options are more or less Sauv Blanc, Gewuztraminer Riesling, Riesling, Pinot Grigio....
