We are off to a good start . Sg 1.08 .pitched yeast last night and have some action this morning

Looks familiar and I'll bet it smells wonderful. I think I recommended
this kit to you a while back. Have to think about doing another myself.
We're down to two bottles and I'm the only one who drinks whites in the
winter!

FYI our initial SG 1.078, final .994.

Yes ,Rainy you did and it does smell goooood. I can really smell the oak in this one. I had to take the towel from around the primary the red star was putting off plenty of heat.

I can tell this will be agreat one!!A friend sent me one to try but I'm letting them rest from the trip.

I made one of these this past September. I haven't tasted it yet. It is still in the Carboy aging and I am going to bottle it sometime in March, I hope.




I'll be tasting it when I bottle, I'll let you know. I have high hopes.
