Vinmetrica and Tannins

I am looking for a SO2 tester, and the Vinmetrica in particular. I make only dry kit reds, and have found that I use Tan Cor Grand Cru more than not. I am wondering if the tannin addition will give the Vinmetrica false readings? Does anyone have any first hand knowledge? Thanks in advance.

Tannins are fine with it. Ascorbic acid will give false readings.
