Has anyone had any experience with figs? There many around here in south Alabama and they are ripe. I read a post sometime a go about adding bananas during fermintation to give the wine body. I was thinking figs would be an excellent "twang" ingredient.Figs aresweet andtheir flavors are very subtle. My next kit is MM Meglioli Cabernet. It isan expensive kit and I'm not sure if I should mess with it to much, but the figs sound very interesting.


Thoughts from the experts?

I would imagine tat you are correct about the added body and would try
it if amybe you had a 5 and a 1 gallon carboy to seperate the batch and
try it on the gallon batch.

Please don't mess with the MM Meglioli Cabernet.....try the figs on a another kit.
