Other Suggest a Kit for Me...

I like making kit wines as well as wines from scratch. So far, I've made 2 batches of Island Mist Blackberry Cabernet, and 1 batch of Island Mist Black Raspberry Merlot. I loved both.

I'd like to try a high-end kit, but have no idea what to try. I like full-bodied red wines with 11-13% alcohol, and I like my wines to have some sweetness.

Suggestions?

I would recommend a good quality Shiraz kit. This one would be a great one I believe

You would have to backsweeten just a tad as it finishes dry but I have not done a Shiraz yet that did not have a seemingly hint of sweetness

So far you have made and enjoyed two sweet wines. Since you did not say, I do not know if you made them as per instructions or added the Fpack to the primary, or did something else.


A full-bodied commercial red is probably a dry wine. The complete opposite (so to speak) of the Island Mist kits.


To help us provide some suggestions can you tell us what full-boded reds you have enjoyed.
