Started primary ferment on Merlot juice

Started primary ferment on Merlot juice today is day 5. When i went to stir up the buckets this afternoon the top was very foamy which i am used to. But also had some greyish sediment sludge like is this normal? Just not something i am used to?

It's just sediment. Stir it back into suspension -- it will drop again.

Thanks that is what i thought just never seen such a concentrate foam before.
