Sparkolloid Question

Is sparkolloid a one shot deal?

I added some to a carboy. It cleared very quickly as it has always done. When I racked it, I messed up and got a large portion of the lees back in solution. I have let it sit another week and it doesn't seem to be clearing as quickly.

Should I add more?

I kind of am. It's Dragonette minus the acid blend. First, I'm concerned it won't keep without the acid in it. I have asked about that and never got an answer. Also, I want to blend it with some Dragonsblood that I made. I think the Dragonsblood is a bit too citrusy. Once I get a blend I like then I'll make a batch from scratch how I like it.

Will a second dose of sparklloid affect flavor?

When you have a higher PH wine, you need more meta for preservation.
