Scratched up Caps?

Hey I recently got a load of NEW beer bottle caps, never been used. They are gold. But my problem is they have a bunch of little scratches on them. are they OK to use still?

If the scratches are on top of the cap, not on the liner side, you should be ok. I'd boil a few and let them air dry, if they don't rust then you are fine, if the liners are scratched up they may not seal well.

Thanks, The inner liner looks great on all of them. Just worried about the rust issue more than anything.

Get some wet and see if they rust.
