WineXpert Riesling color

What color should my VR Riesling be?

It is about 7 weeks old, just finishing clearing, and still in the carboy.
Everything looks, smells, and tastes fine, but the color is darker than I am used to with off the shelf Rieslings. It looks more like a Chardonnay to me.

Your wine will tend to look darker sitting in a carboy versus when you put it into a bottle or a glass.

It is darker in the glass too.
