I use it all the time.
How accurate is it? Depends on what you think you are going for, for me I use it as has the malic acid all been converted and am I less then 30 ppm. I suppose I also check is it less than last time I checked. But I don't generally care that there is 257 ppm, it can't tell you that.
How Good is it? For me it serves the purpose, I do one to five batches at a time and just care is it changing and is it complete. For me, it is a much easier, much quicker answer than dealing with chromotography. It serves my purposes at a reasonable cost point.
