I am not much into making beer, by my cousin is. He has a pretty nice set-up and uses "Korny Kegs" and a forced carbonation method.

My question is this...

When fermentation is complete, and the beer is recked into the Korny keg, would it be beneficial to filter the beer at this point? I have a 3 plate filter (a bon vino super jet) and was planning to use that. My hope is to end up with a nice crisp, clear beer.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated!

lots of people filter their beer and it does end up much nicer and cleaner. and because your cousin forces carbonation, you don't need the yeast and could filter finer than someone who would bottle carb.
