Question about bottles and labels

I have noticed on some wine bottles there is a slight taper from top to bottom on the main body of the bottle. If you put a label say 3 x 4 back side
information label it would tend to look wider at the top than at the bottom
Do commercial wineries compensate for this by producing tapered labels
because their labels do not seem to have this effect where as mine do.

I decided this morning I am making labels.....are should i say, not.
I am takeing a few wine bottles and some Ideas to a local graphic artist, I do not have the paitence to screw with label software at all.

you might ask running wolf about this...he makes tons of wine, and labels...not sure if he uses the bottles you are...

my commercial winery did not change label size base on bottle tapering. by placing label lower on the bottle the affect you mention should not occur.
