Planting Foch

I have some year old Foch that I started from cuttings and was thinking about putting 2 of them in each hole. That way I could run single cordon or if one died I could run double cordon like I usually would. Any input on this would be appreciated. I am just going to try a few but was wondering if anyone does it this way.

You can do that, but it is a waste of a good vine if they are both healthy. Personally I would rather have one healthy vine split both ways rather than two vbines competing with each other. With one you can use two trunks and if one dies the other is there.
