I have no experience growing grapes.
Last spring I planted a few. Two wine grape vines, Lomanto and Black Spanish and 4 muscadines , I built two 60 foot single wire trellises, I used 7" wood end post set at an angle, two 5" wood post 20 ft from each other and the ends and used 3 T post each a foot from the vines. I did not use bracing or anchors on the end, with such a short run I didn't think it would be needed. Now I question that.
What do you all think. If I need bracing, how is the best way to add it at this point. Thinking of driving a T post 4+ feet into the ground and using this as an anchor by drilling a hole close to the ground and using a wire from top of end post thru the hole.
I have ordered 8 Nortons to plant this spring and will use the same trellis setup.
