Pierce's disease

I live in rural (almost) Texas, about 75 miles north of Houston. I'm told that grapes don' t do well around here because of Pierce's disease, which is carried by leaf hoppers.

Anyone know of varieties (other than Muscadines)that would work?

peter there aren't a lot of Pierce's Disease resistant varieties yet but the following link gives you some information. There are probably many more by now because the article is from 1997, but it will give you a few choices.
