Normacorc'd bottle storage orientation

Curious how folks are storing their Nomacorc'd bottles - horizontally racked or vertically boxed ?

for your vertically stored bottles -- anything "special" done after corking? Right side up or upside down?

Immediately after corking, I stand all bottles upright for at least 3 days to let the pressure equalize without pushing wine out. After that I normally store bottles horizontally, but have a few cases that have been upright for 6 months.

We've had this conversation, have we not?

I think it depends on how much wine is consumed if the winemaker remains vertical or assumes the horizontal position.

Well....I tend to get 28bottles outta my 6gal kits. All getting Normacorc'd moving forward - 24 getting stored vertically back in boxes & 4 horizontally in vino racks
