WineXpert Mezza Luna Red

I was looking at my MLR last night and the inside of the carboy either has bubbles on the side of the glass or is it oak chips?


Did anyone have this when they made the Mezza Luna?
I know Scuba has a MLR racking now.

Gently rock the carboy and you'll know. Bubbles go up, oak goes down.

Probley oak but I dont know for sure, I didnt have that problem.

I was wrong, I do have that problem. However mine didnt show up untill after I added the chemicals to stablize. Its not really bubbles, they seem to be very small peices of oak and maybe some parts of the grape. I am racking this again over the weekend and hopfully that will get rid of this problem.
