My husband and I bottled our third kit- OB Mango Mint. I love mint especially drinks like Mojitos so I thought this would make a great summer wine. We added two pounds of corn sugar to bump the alcohol to a little over 9 %. We filtered the wine before bottling. I was surprised that it didn't have the mint kick I wanted however we added some fresh mint from our herb garden and it was really good...almost like a mojito.
I will put the labels on later but for now here is my wine.
This is the Mango Mint right after degassing.
After filtering and racking to the bucket for bottling. I forgot to take a "before" picture.
30 full bottles plus a little left-over for samples.
Today we racked/degassed an OB Black Cherry Pinot Noir:
We also started the White Chocolate Port today:
We are also starting a Gruner Veltliner tomorrow- one of my favorite wines! I am very excited!
