Making champagne using membrane tubing

Can anyone offer an alternative to using Specta/por 4 product 132700. It's seems a costly $210.

I make mine by disgorging the frozen plug. I have very little secondary sediment anyway. Just enough for a small plug. Never used the membrane or tubing.
