Lets talk mulch

Since I only going to have about 15 vines this year I would like to know what type of mulch would be the best as far as not helping for the growth of fungis on the vines. I like shredded pine bark but would use something like cypress mulch if better.

Instead of mulch, use a fine compost. You will get the good organic benefits without fungal or rodent problems. Seriously.
