Kit Question:

I am making the Kiwi pear Island mist kit. The kit says the starting SG should be betweeen 1.048 and 1.052, however the it doesnt say what to do if your starting SG is NOT between those two numbers. Mine was good, but I was just wondering what you would do to fix the numbers. I figured that if your number was too low you would have to adda little sugar, but that is just my guess.

Thanks,

Scuba

The main reason to check the SG is to make sure you mixed it properly. If the SG didn't fall into the range then it could point to a problem with not mixing well to adding too much or too little water.
In the rare case there was a problem with the kit itself then you should contact the retailer you bought it from. Saving or writing down the info on the white label on Winexpert kits would be important if this happened.
