8 weeks ago, I started mead and blueberry wine.
6 weeks ago, I started dragonblood
4 weeks ago, I started apple wine
3 weeks ago, I started banana wine.

The banana is nearly crystal clear, whilst all the others are still murky...

And there I thought the banana would take forever, especially since i didn't add any amylase enzyme...

I'll get to try it this weekend when i rack it off the sediment...

wish the others would catch up though - i'm running out of carboys :)

Interesting how the wines work sometimes.

By the way: based on your post, I think it's time for you to start another wine. :h

I have a blueberry banana in the carboy now and was also amazed at how fast it cleared.

LOL tell me about it... i nearly brought home a bunch of figs today. but, alas, i keep having to tell myself that i can't rack wine into full carboys - so i have to keep a spare... or buy more...

sounds tastey...

It can be hard to predict some times. I've made two identical batches side-by-side and had one clear quickly while the other was stubborn.
