I am a Stumble Upon addict. I came across this page the other day. I really want to give this a try. Gives all grain brewing a refreshing twist.

Well I think one of our resident brewers here needs to give it a go.

Ill give it a go when pumpkins are ready but Ill do the primary in carboy as I dont want the fruit flies that will probably really like this.

Ha, too cool! I wonder how one sanitizes a pumpkin for use as a fermentor?

I think they're betting that if you carve it right before filling it that there either won't be any competing nasties in there or that anything that did sneak in won't be able to compete with the brewing yeast.

I second Wade's "freaking awesome" comment. I especially dig the combination of traditional A/G tubes, spigots, etc. and the two pumpkins - way cool. PLEASE post pictures if you do this!
