So after having watched many wine documentaries, Alot depends on the soil of the vineyard but weather greatly affects its year to year quality. Hence vitners refering to good or bad vintages(directly relies on the weather). With us being kit wine makers, we don't know about our soil but we can(theoretically) know about the weather of the region our kit came from. So I would like to control this factor for my wine making.
Does anybody know of an existing site that tracks weather for wine regions and grades the vintage accordingly at harvest time?
If there is not one I am considering writing one myself.
