Long story short, I have 5 kits fermenting. They've all been racked, and last night I was putting the fining agents in a couple of them. But here is the issue.

I wasn't paying close enough attention and I put the fining agent from my Coastal Red into my Chardonnay. (Red wine fining agent was put into my white wine)

Is there anything I can do now? Did I ruin my batch of Chardonnay?

Total beginner, so any help would be appreciated.

There is a difference between Chitosan and Isinglass. There is a preference for one over the other, depending upon whether you are making white or red wine.

However, the difference is not much, and I wouldn't worry about it.

Thanks! I feel MUCH better. I'll just go get some more chitosan to replace the amount I used and put it in my Coastal Red.
