Ok I made a 3gallon batch of Concord from moms grapes in August. Last Racked it Around 9/1. Now it has a light green film on the top.
I am going to rack it and add /Kmeta today.
Did I ruin it? Thoughts?
Taste test is the defining criteria?

It also depends on how many pounds of concords per gallon you used, and if you are going to back sweeten it when its done. That extra sugar covers up a lot of sins.

Chances are that the wine is just find. Yes, the best way to tell is to taste it.

I must disagree completely… Why would you say chances are that its fine? if it has something growing over the surface of the wine? This could very well be mycoderma or any other bacteria infection which if left untreated will ruin the whole batch.. Is the container completely topped up and sulfited to the correct level according to the wine's pH? I would start there

Well it is now. I racked it and sulfited it last Thurs. I am sure that was the problem. It was left alone for too long, 2 months late on the sulfite.
Good news is it tastes ok. Well as good as concord should taste I guess.
Thanks
