I started a WE Chateau Du Roi kit ten days ago, and was unexpectedly called out of town, so I wasn't able to transfer the wine from primary to secondary until today [10 days]. Is this a potential problem?

You should be OK...What was your S.G. when you racked to the secondary??

the new Vino Del Vida kits by RJ Spagnols don't even go to a secondary, they stay in the primary for two weeks and get stablized and fined from there. So you will be just fine.

The S. G. was fine....I was just worried that it might have been exposed to too much oxygen for too long a period of time.
Thanks for the replies.

Hay Stinkie, did you find it really easy to degass that way? I cdid the
RJS Barolo and could not believe how much easier it was to degass. Just
wondering if this was a fluke or if they are really on to something.
