I don't know about very one els but when I first make a batch of wine I'm like "comeon... Start bubbling.." And a week it's like yay it's just steadily fermenting away.. Near the end your like " COMEON!! Stop bubbling!!!" Lol I know a random post but am I the only one? Mainly on new experiments I do I'm just excited to try them lol.

Yeah remember thinking coming on start bubbling, and then a week later just stop already. Once you have your 10 carboys and 100 gallon bottled you'll find a rhythm.
I check my wine now not sit and watch it ferment. I however still get very excited about recipes.

Yeah, once I've made a few of the same recipe it's like yeah come on hurry.. This is boring lol. But when I make new recipes such as this new "peach mango" I am excited..

I remember when I brewed my first beer in 2004 in a 6.5gal carboy and being mesmerized by watching it do its thing! Microbiology at its best!!

I am making a batch of Blackberry wine right now, I am super excited about. Most of the blackberries were picked by my deceased father-in-law. I plan to top off all future Blackberry batches off with it, or at least decending bottles of it.

The first couple of batches I did, I would sit there and watch them bubble.

Now my obsessive checking is, "Does that smell like sulfur? ****, I think I smell sulfur. Honey, come smell this. Does it smell like sulfur?"

I'm not smelling that.

"Just smell it."

No.

Jeri, wow same thing here. I'm like "babe come smell this, uh no. Come take taste of this uh hell no? Lol..
