I have been reading as much as I can about growing Elderberies...to date I have not harvested any, but continue to plant more.

I have read about the disease Tomato Ringspot Virus...I haven't planted any Elderberries near the vegetable garden for fear of them getting the disease. It also says that Red Raspberries are susceptible to that disease as well...My Raspberries are right next to the vegetable garden and to date I haven't seen any sign of Ringspot.

Does anyone have experience with this disease????

Would it wise to plant Elderberries near the end of the vegetable garden????

Thanks Appleman...that is good reading.

I don't seem to have a problem growing tomatoes...I grow them on plastic and so far haven't had a disease problem. The potatoes look good too.

The last row of Raspberries are right along side of the veggies and don't see any problem [so far] in the Rapberries..

.So..I might venture and plant a few Native Elderberries at the end of the veggie garden...And keep my fingers crossed.
