I have that exact same press. It is an apple cider crusher and press. It is not meant for crushing grapes. Look it up on line. It's made by Happy Valley and sells for around $800. I paid $400. If you're going to do apples it is well worth getting. How much are they asking?

they are asking $250....i don't plan an apples.....would this work well for grapes?

Just to expand on what RW said..

That is not a crusher. It is an apple mill. Note the teeth on the drum. While this is great for reducing apples to a pile of pulp (for easy juice extraction), this is not how you would want to process grapes.

A grape crusher gently squeezes the grapes between two smooth rollers. This is to just break the skins and not to grind them up. Milling grapes would result in a wine being WAY too tannic and bitter.
