2 weeks ago my wine was very acidic tasting, that acidic is mostly gone (just from letting it sit) but now it has a corked taste to it, more so bland than fruity, hard water taste.

Has this gone bad, or do I need to let it age longer?

How long has it been sitting? Reds take AT LEAST a year to reach their peak...

Could you provide a little more info?

How old is the wine? Is the wine currently bottled? How many racking have you done? and doe the wine look clear?

How old is the wine?
>>1 Month

Is the wine currently bottled?
>>No, its in a carboy

How many racking have you done?
>>Just the once

and doe the wine look clear?
>>not totally

Thanks

It has a long way to go and will go through many phazes as it gets there. It will usually taste different also if you take a sip from where it is and the rack it to another vessel as wine is fragile and when you put stress on it it can change the taste for awhile. Just like bottling will give a wine bottle shock that can last from 1 week to aroud 2 months.
