just getting all my first time/mildly annoying and probably redundant posts out of the way in one go. We're getting frozen grapes shipped to us in the beginning of May. I have until then to amass the needed materials.

So just what exactly am I gonna need for all this anyway?

Press
Fermentor
Various Ph/Specific Gravity testing equipment
Syphon Hose
Carboy(s?)
Airlocks (what are these exactly?)
Oak Barrel


I'm sure I'm missing something here.. obviously the bottles/finishing stuff comes later

sanitizer - probably potassium metabisulfite (aka K-meta)
yeast
yeast nutrient/energizer
oak instead of the barrel, if you wish to save a little $
malolactic bacterium

Most likely with frozen grapes you will not need a press or an oak barrel, the other items, I will do a good price for you.
