Brew Belt Question

I just received my brew belt


I'm going to start a couple of 1 gallon batches. Can the belt be used on the primary fermenter. Don't want to overcook the 1 gallon liquid. Also can the belt be used on a 1 gallon jug - same concern

Not the 1 gallon carboys and I dont think putting it on a primary with
only a small amount of fluid would be a good thing but not sure. Maybe on the jugs you could wrap it aroun 2 of them.
