It all depends on which filter housing you are using ?

I recommend using this one =
Pentek 158116 10" Slim Line Filter Housing

It takes this type of filter =
Pentek P1 Spun Polypropylene Filter
specs = Dimensions: 9-3/4"x2-3/8"

Aqua Pure 10" Sediment Filter Cartridge =
specs = (9 7/8 inches x 2 1/2 inches)

I did a thread on this subject -

Thanks Steve. I started with your thread, great btw. After it I started looking at filters and saw the Aqua Pure, thus the question. It caught my eye being food rated and approved for beverages.

Actually the pentek P1 is cheaper and it also is rated for potable water - which covers beverages and such.

I did alot of research to find the best price and filter configuration for everyone. I personally did not want to sell them - only point you in the right direction.

Good question - though !
