Any trouble when flying from Canada to USA with wine

I will be traveling to Boston in a week and I'd like to bring a few bottles of my wine with me. Does anyone have any experience with this? Is there a maximum amount that I can bring? Any thing change because it is wine that I've made myself?

1 liter per adult duty free. Not sure if that is for everyone, or just USA Citizens. No limit (reasonable) if you are willing to pay duty.
