Getting ready to start the L/E Meg Cab Sauv Del Veneto....


I opened the box and see two packs of oak....and the rest of the goodies...


I was thinking of adding 2lbs of raisins....


Looking for some feedback!

I don't know if I would go there...


In fact, I am doing one and I didn't go there!!!


I don't think the quality of the grapes used for raisins would even come close to the quality of the cab grapes in that kit.

It won't hurt anything to try it. It will definitely add some body, but might (might???) cause the aging process to be lengthened a little, since you are adding some TDS. Do you know what a cab with added raisins tastes like? Neither do the rest of us (ha!) When you do try it, let us know how it turns out.
