ok, so I've made a few batches of wine. From kits, strawberries, to skeeterpee, to apples and cherries picked off the backyard tree.

I guess I've been pretty lucky on everything, because it's been more or less tastes pretty good (or else I have bad taste buds).

I want to step it up a notch, and get an acid testing kit, to see how much acid blend I should really be adding to the initial ingrediants.

What kit do I need to buy? I'm not intersted in a ph meter right now, as I don't want to shell out the cash.

Advice?

Thanks!

that fine wines link, links to bentonite. Was that intended?

also, that brewandwinessupply link, just says "Acid testing kit". What kind is it?

Thanks for the reply.

Hmm - no. When i click on it - it goes to the Acid Test Kit on fine vines site.

I believe the beer and wine one is the Acid Test Kit that uses the 10cc sample instead of the 3cc sample.
