Accuvin

I All, Inan article in Winemaker Mag (ACIDITY 101) they mention a product called ACCUVIN http://www.accuvin.com I was wondering if anyone has used these. They look very nice, and will do all types of testing.

We use the accuvin test for TA for the first time this year. One draws a fixed amount of juice and places it in a fixed volume of testing liquid. The color change is instantaneous and can be compared tothat from a chart. This approach seems to take much of the subjectivity out of other acid titration tests.(Noting when the color changes from blue to light green or vice versa.)


One difficulty is that only 5 tests could be conducted with the Accuvin package we purchased.
