    Juice buckets Help

    Just picked up my chilean juice buckets 1 cab and 1 Merlot. I picked them up on Friday and picked the yeast on Saturday. The Cab is going great bubbling away. The Merlot is doing nothing. Th SG was 1070 in both of them. What gives? Do i just wait?

    When bulk aging how often do you rack? I was planning on bulk aging a juice bucket of Cab from Cali for 6 months. I was thinking about racking after 3 months. Then again before bottling. I'm I on the right track?

    looks like crystals on bottom of carboy

    I have a cali cab going from a bucket of juice. Started 10-2-12 last rack was 11-4-12 and added 1/4 teaspoon PM. At the bottom of the carboy it looks like crystals are forming. What do you think?

    Juice bucket questions

    Cali Cab is ready to rack for the first time and not sure how to use the potassium metabisulfite. It has been is the secondary for 30 days. Do i just sprinkle in or do I mix after I add.
