Didn't find much today but I did get (2) 5 gallon plastic carboys, 1 hydrometer, wine theft and bottle filler for 5.00. Not bad! My Equipment will most likelly double by the end of the summer. Now just waiting for the strawberries to come out so that i can start a batch. :db

Haha I have problems myself. I hate having to wait soo long and having to buy store bought wine. The other day I tried my hearbal tea wine after having 2 1/2 glasses of red store bought wine. It did make it taste better. haha

I just started a batch of red wine from concentrated Welch juice and just planning ahead. I was thinking can I add raisin into the carboy if the grape flavor isn't strong enough? Instead of juicing it down? (after fermentation as stoped?) Just thought it might be an option?!

My husband brought home lots of ready made limonade from work and the experation date is the 8 do you think it okay to make a skeeter pee batch with it anyways? Thanks

Well the people that sold me the 2 primaries,tubbing and bottles said they also had a carboy but someone bought it to use it has a piggy bank. Really!!! If you want a large bank then why not use a water bottle?! So I almost got another carboy. :re

Other than wine it would have to be coffee. I used to like hard liquor but not anymore. With wine I get to drink a bottle and feel good the next day with liquor it's not the same story. haha

Starting sg was 1.080 probably a little too high for tea wine. Also it probably needed more tea bags.

So I made a wine with tea bags and its almost fermented dry. I tasted it and you can taste mostly the alcohool. The tea that I used we're: White tea with raspberry Rosehip And Hicubus (or something like that) Cranberry herbal tea Now what kind of F-pack do you suggest? I was thinking...
