Wine press Us Defunct? Or my computer

Has anyone been able to access the Winepress.us forum? I haven't been able to get in for about a month. I see they no longer say they are in the process of replacing their server on winepress.us web page. Dave

    WineXpert Piesporter

My first batch of WE Piesporter is great after 3 months in the bottle. It was so good at the time of bottling I ran out and bought another one! Batch # 2 is now ready to bottle. My wife informed me that I must always have some of this in inventory. If you like the Piesporter style, You wont be...

    WineXpert ElderFlowers in Piesporter

I've made 2 batches so far of WE Piesporter. The remaining elderflowers will sink to the bottom once the wine is degassed. The finings won't cause the flowers to settle. It's the CO2 that is keeping them afloat. My second batch is at the 25 day after start of fermentation point and as of...

    What is this yeast?

LALVIN K1-V1116 works as well as Premiere Cuvee for me. As best as I can tell the specs are about the same. Dave

    curious

It's been my experence when I add sorbate before fermation stops, it will continue for a few more days. From what I've learned, sobate doesn't kill the active yeast but stops it from reproducing. So yours will stop now on its own without additional sorbate. Dave
