    No bubbles ?

    I am making cucumber wine according to recipe except it said to rack after 5 days when SG was between .109 and 1.1. I did not rack until 5 1/2 days when SG was .998. The airlock has been on for 1 day and there is no bubbling in the airlock. What is the matter? I thought it would be bubbling by now.

    Do I add K meta when I transfer to carboy from primary?

    I am making Banana wine. The SG at 1.0 has stopped. I am going to transfer to carboy from primary. Do I add any K meta and how much, 1/4 tsp? What is the way to transfer into carboy? I use a crock for primary and am transfering into glass carboy. Can I use a cup and strainer/funnel? Thanks.
