I want to make 5 gal of potato wine and the recipes I have seen say it will take anywhere between 10 and 30# of potatos. some say to leave skins on and some say to peal and slice potatos. I just made grape wine and did not have enough fruit so I want to be sure I have enough potatoes. Tom your recipe says to leave must in fermentor 7-14 days. Do I stir it 2 times a day like most recipes advise? What does potato wine taste like? Thanks for any advice.
