Yes, oak cubes! It said to put them in the primary, should I transfer them when I rack to the secondary? I was disappointed when I did not see the beans, yours came out so good.
 
This will come out equally as good I am sure, it just means they went back to a more traditional Chardonnay of sorts for one reason or another.

I would rinse the beans off with some water (spritz with some sulfite) rack to secondary transferring as much as you can and still leave room for the beans and then leave them on throughout the secondary fermentation.

When you rack again to fine and stabilize you can taste the oak level and leave out or add them back in. Those beans will take at least 2 months to fully extract and sink to the bottom of the carboy.
