Wine Making Shops

Totally strange question …

We live in an area with no local source for wine-making … when we travel I try to search for shops along our route. But when I do internet searches I usually come up blank .. (or find only listings for mail-order) … while I love my mail-order companies I'd also love to avoid paying shipping when I can …

Anyone have any good reference or ways of searching to find local brick-and-mortar shops?!?

Go to Google Maps and locate your address. Then expand the map to the size map you want to search and then type in 'wine making' in the search box. That should do it.

you might try phrases like "beer wine supply" rather than "wine making" ... but that might be too obvious and you may have tried that

Going to be in your state next weekend, unfortunately, not close enough. Going to make a 5-6 winery loop east of KC. I think the farthest east we will be is Waverly, MO.
