Williams Brewing Zin

I just bought a Lodi Ranch Zin kit from Williams Brewing. I want to know if anyone else has made this and what kind of feedback you have. Its a 5 gal. kit. I have always made my kits from Winexpert on the high end and have been pleased with the results. They are just a little pricey and thats why Im tring the Williams kit.

I have 2 going right now, a Pino Noir and a Merlot. The juice tasted very good to start and seemed to be quite thick when diluted to 5 gallons.

Both are at about 30 days in the carboy, I did add an ounce of toasted Hungarian oak cubes to both during primary.

I guess we will know in about 5 more months, but preliminary results seem to be on par with kit wines.

I have only made the Muscat from Williams Brewing and I have been very pleased. I have been tempted to try a red but have not done so thus far. Good luck.

Ok great. i usually bulk age for about six months before i bottle.
